"Not Me But You"

National Service Scheme (NSS) was introduced in 1969 with the primary objective of developing the personality and character of the student youth through voluntary community service.

The NSS unit at UIT Kollam was established on November 8th, 2021. Various initiatives such as Sramadhan, Palliative Care work programs, anti-drug awareness campaigns, blood donation camps, and numerous other awareness programs are regularly organized on our campus.

Our unit was honored with the award for the best unit in Kollam District for the 2022 Vimukthi program, a part of the anti-drug prevention initiative.
